Fortunately for what I was using the data for it did not matter whether it was accurate or not, I used it purely as a widely known data set from which to demonstrate how the Hockey Stick was made, using (illustrating) the same methods as Mann et al used.

Skeptics should not hesitate to challenge anything.
I challenge that "temperature" graph. Despite Dansgaards ideas that isotopes can be proxy for temperatures, it remains a logical fallacy, affirming the consequent.
The problems are exposed, especially when comparing detailed studies of the Oldest Dryas or Pleniglacial (17.5 - 14.5 Ka Cal BP) also known as "Mystery Interval" (Denton et al, PAGES, 2006) and the Younger Dryas.
These isotope variations also show seasonality of precipitation but most likely predominantly aridness. See:
